The E. Matilda Ziegler Foundation for the Blind, Inc. is pleased to announce for 2022, 5 new one-time research grants were awarded totaling $1,250,000 to:

Euiseok Kim, PhD, Assistant Professor of MCD Biology, University of California, Santa Cruz

Wendy Liu, MD, PhD, Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology, Stanford University

Cassie A. Ludwig, MD, MS, Clinical Instructor in Vitreoretinal Surgery, Stanford University

Lev Prasov, MD, PhD, Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences, Assistant Professor of Human Genetics, University of Michigan

William Spencer, PhD, Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences, SUNY Upstate Medical University

The Foundation also awarded a 2022 grant for $150,000 to The Fidelco Guide Dog Foundation, Inc.
