The E. Matilda Ziegler Foundation for the Blind, Inc. is pleased to announce for 2018, three new 3-year research grants were awarded totaling $720,000 to Cagri Besirli, MD, PhD, Assistant Professor, Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences, Kellogg Eye Center, University of Michigan; David Myung, MD, PhD, Assistant Professor, Ophthalmology, Byers Eye Institute, Stanford University Medical Center; Jillian Pearring, PhD, Assistant Professor, Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences, Kellogg Eye Center, University of Michigan. The Foundation also awarded a one-time grant for $100,000 to Raunak Sinha, PhD, Assistant Professor, Department of Neuroscience, University of Wisconsin-Madison.
