The E. Matilda Ziegler Foundation for the Blind, Inc. has awarded four new research grants totaling $960,000 to Yang Sun, MD, PhD, Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Indiana University; Derek S. Welsbie, MD, PhD, Assistant Professor, Department of Ophthalmology at Johns Hopkins Medical School; Bart G. Borghuis, PhD, Assistant Professor, Department of Anatomical Sciences & Neurobiology at University of Louisville; and Felice A. Dunn, PhD, Assistant Professor, Department of Ophthalmology at University of California, San Francisco. In addition at year-end 2014 the Foundation awarded a one-time $100,000 grant to In-Jung Kim, PhD, Assistant Professor, Department of Ophthalmology & Visual Science, Yale University School of Medicine.  Congratulations to all our new award recipients!
